The SKYe Five October 24- November 6

We here at Skye Magazine like to take a few moments and profess what we have loved over the past weeks. So here it is. The definitive list of the top five things for last week and the top five things for this week.

 

Things From Last Week:

  1. Thursday: Beavis and Butthead returned to MTV and returned a rating of 3.3 million viewers on a very competitive night, seeing as how the World Series was still in play.

  2. Friday: The Rum Diary starring Johnny Depp was released. The Rum Diary is based on a novel written by Kentucky Native, Hunter S. Thompson.

  3. Saturday: WKU continues its 4 game winning streak by defeated ULM 31-28

  4. Friday: The St. Louis Cardinals won the 107th World Series, beating the Texas Rangers 6 to 2..

  5. Sunday: Burt Reynolds announced that he will be making a cameo appearance on FX's animated show “Archer.” Reynolds (Mustache and all) in “Archer” is set to air in January.

 

 

Things For This Week:

  1. Monday: Sony Pictures International announced that it will begin to air “Wheel Of Fortune” and “Jeopardy!” in the Middle East.

  2. Monday: FX and Directv have finally come to an agreement and Directv will not be pulling FX off of their channels. (This means I won't have to switch satellite providers mid season of “Sons Of Anarchy”)

  3. Tuesday: FX's newest show created by Ryan Murphy, “American Horror Story” has been renewed for a second season

  4. Tuesday: SKY PAC met to announce their inaugural season. Their line up of plays include “Cats,” “Young Frankenstein,” “Damn Yankees,” and many more. Tickets are now on sale, go check it out at facebook.com/theskypac.

  5. Saturday: WKU Football will take on Florida International at home.
